I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Parenting Consultant/Educator. I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples treating work/school difficulties, social/relationship struggles, painful life transitions and loss, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I also have particular interest in postpartum mood disorders, infant/maternal mental health and the first zero to three years of child development and parenting. I earned my masters in counseling from Seattle University in 1994 and a postgraduate certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy in 2006. I have completed training in Active Parenting, STEP Parenting and John Gottman's "Loving Couples, Loving Children" curriculums. I am a member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study, and the Washington Mental Health Counselor Association.
